Teen/Adult Learn to Fence July/August 2026

Our entry level class -- learn the basic attacks and defense of modern fencing! This class is for new and continuing fencers age 13+

level 1

Cost: $200 1x per week)

USA Fencing Membership Required

Thursday 6-7:15 Starts 7/9

Class requirements:

Fencers must purchase their own fencing glove. ($17, see registration form.)

Fencers must wear long athletic pants, t-shirts, and clean, dry sneakers to class
Fencers should bring a water bottle to class. (We have a water bottle filling station.)
We will provide the necessary equipment for the student's exclusive use while enrolled. Equipment must be returned on the last day of class. (Excluding glove).
Returning students are asked to provide their own fencing mask.
Participants must bring in a signed enrollment form to their first class.
Bring your US Fencing membership confirmation to your first class.

Get moving and practice your fencing skills! More advanced techniques and tactics will be covered and this class will also give you an opportunity to fence with your peers. For experienced foil and epee fencers age 13+

Open House & Free Mini-Lesson

Thursday, September 3rd, 6:30-7:30 pm

Join us for our Fall Open House! Learn about the exciting Olympic Sport of Fencing, try your hand at wielding a foil, learn more about our classes and programs.

USA Fencing Trial Membership form (free) is required to participate. Complete, print out, and bring the trial membership form with you to the open house.

Fencing is a sport that can be learned and enjoyed at almost any age!

The event is free, but please register in advance to ensure a place.
