July/Aug Youth Learn to Fence

Youth Learn to Fence July/August 2023

Our entry level class -- learn the basic attacks and defense of modern fencing!    This class is for new and continuing fencers age 8-13. Fencers typically continue at this level at least two full sessions.

Level 1

$175 (1x per week for seven weeks.)

USA Fencing membership is required.

Choose one:

• Monday 4:45-5:45 Meets 7/17, 7/24, 7/31, 8/7, 8/14, 8/21, 8/28
  

Class requirements:

• Fencers must wear long athletic pants, t-shirts, and clean, dry sneakers to class
• Fencers should bring a water bottle to class. (We have a water bottle filling station.)
• We will provide a set of the necessary equipment for the student's exclusive use while enrolled.  Equipment must be returned on the last day of class.
  
• Returning students are asked to provide their own fencing mask. (See our equipment policy for information about special offers when you purchase your mask from us.)
• Participants must bring in a signed enrollment form to their first class.
• Bring your US Fencing membership confirmation to your first class ($25/year for a non-competitive membership).  US Fencing membership is available here...
